As a Black engineer and science fiction lover, I concerned myself with the presence and portrayals of Black people in the visions of our future. From there, The Black Futurist podcast was born.
I tell people all the time, that I have 2 superpowers: A great memory, and access. The memory is mine, but the access is given to me by all the incredibly smart people who continue to answer the phone when I call.
It is these two superpowers mixed with incredible curiosity that fuels The Black Futurist podcast, and centers me in the front row of learning and discussing the great innovations of our time.
